The mission of the Manny L Friedman Foundation is simple: To support organizations and institutions that ensure the safety & well-being of abandoned, unwanted, or otherwise at-risk animals of all kinds. This means our efforts go toward aiding no-kill shelters, sanctuaries, rescue facilities, and others that fall under that umbrella. Our goal is to save and protect the animals most in need of saving and protecting.
The Manny L. Friedman Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit.
Manny L. Friedman
Manny L. Friedman was a warm young man with an almost boundless love for everyone he came across. As much as he cared about humans and put their needs before his own, this approach was magnified in his attitudes toward animals. Manny volunteered at animal shelters, rescued injured birds, and ran his own pet care business called Pet Sitters at Home. His goal was to sustain his own life financially by loving and caring for animals. That life was tragically cut short in an accident in August of 2015.
Manny lived his twenty-eight years with an unwavering commitment to caring for animals of all kinds, especially those most in need. He believed it was the responsibility of all of us to love, protect and defend them. The Manny L. Friedman Foundation's sole aim is to continue that commitment in perpetuity.
